| Viruses in the external environment are in the form of crystals; these are organisms that do not have a cellular structure. Bacteriophages are viruses that infect bacteria. How do bacteriophages enter bacterial cells?
1) the tail processes attach to the antigenic proteins of the bacterial cell wall;
2) the tail enzyme destroys the bacterial cell wall;
3) the DNA of the virus is injected into the cell through the tail channel;
4) DNA replication and synthesis of cell proteins are suppressed, instead of them DNA and virus proteins are synthesized.
