What does the sun have to do with yellow, white and black dwarfs?

Now the Sun is a star – a yellow dwarf according to the terminology accepted in astronomy. After 8 billion years, it will turn into a red giant, then, having shed its shell, it will become a white dwarf, and then, after cooling down, it will become a black dwarf the size of the Earth.
