1) carbon monoxide forms a strong connection with hemoglobin, which disrupts the transport of gases in the victim;
2) a person who has been poisoned by carbon monoxide must provide access to oxygen: open windows, take the victim out into fresh air or give a pillow with oxygen; in case of respiratory arrest, perform pulmonary resuscitation (artificial respiration).
