| Fur farming is a branch of animal husbandry engaged in breeding valuable breeds of animals on fur farms in order to obtain furs and meat. Fur is obtained by breeding silver-black and platinum foxes, blue foxes, minks with different fur colors. Valuable, beautiful brownish-brown fur and tasty meat are supplied by the semi-aquatic rodents of nutria. When raised on farms, rabbits of different breeds receive dietary meat, fur and valuable undercoat (down).
