Race is a historically developed intraspecific group of people, consisting of the populations of Homo sapiens and having similar morphophysiological characteristics. Each race is characterized by a special hereditary set of characteristics. Among them: the color of the skin, eyes, hair, features of the skull and soft parts of the face, body size, height, etc. The external features of the human body were the main criteria for dividing humanity into races. In terms of intellectual potential and mental abilities, the races do not differ. Modern mankind is divided into many races (more than 20), but they are often grouped into three main groups of races: Negroid, Mongoloid and Caucasoid.
