When rye plants were crossed with violet (due to the presence of anthocyanin) and green (lack of pigment) seedlings in the second generation (4,517 plants with violet and 1,503 plants with green shoots were obtained in F. Explain the cleavage. Determine the genotypes of the original plants. What genotype were F1 plants ?

A – purple flowers, a – green.
Since in the second generation 3: 1 cleavage (4517: 1503) was obtained, it means that Aa heterozygotes with violet flowers were crossed in F1 (according to the cleavage law), and the original plants had the AA and aa genotypes — they were homozygotes (according to the law of uniformity of the first generation hybrids )
