| The largest mountains are recorded on the surface of Mars. These are the volcanoes Arsia and Akreus, their height is 27 km, and the volcanoes Pavonis and Snow Olympus, with heights of 26 km. At the base, these mountains reach 500-600 km, the diameters of the craters (caldera) – 60-100 km.
