Why are most total lunar eclipses with a phase greater than 1.75 invisible in Russia?

| Only a central or almost central lunar eclipse can have such a large phase, during which the Moon will be near the point of perigee of the orbit, and the Earth – near the aphelion point of its orbit around the Sun. The last condition is fulfilled in the summer months – in June and July. But at this time the Moon in Russia is visible low above the horizon and for a very short time. Therefore, such an eclipse is likely to be invisible in our country.
